What is Al-Ihsan School?

Al-Ihsan School is an Islamic school established in the spirit of the traditional schools, Al-Katateeb.
We wish to bring to the present the dynamic and flourishing Islamic education that formed our imminent scholars and scientists.
Being in the masjid and folding the knees to acquire knowledge, has a great barakah in developing the senses, intellect, and education of the children. He/she will learn to be close to Allah and to love the house of Allah (swt). And whoever reachs this level will be a light walking on earth ,a guidance for wrongdoers, and one of the best of all creatures.
"And verily those who have attained to faith and do righteous deeds -it is they who are the best of all creatures" 98:7.

Let us also remember the hadith of the Prophet (saws) in which he describes the seven people that Allah (swt) will put under the shade of His throne on the Day of Judgement, when there is no shade but His, among them:
A youth who grew up in obedience to Allah, and one whose heart is attached to the masjid.
May Allah make us be among them.

School Mission

1. To bring to the community an authentic teaching of the values of Islam - values as lived by the first generation of Muslims.
2. To preserve the fitrah (inner nature) of our children and to develop it in an Islamic spirit and environment.
3. To prepare a generation enlightened by the noor (light) of Allah (swt), mindful of Him and only seeking help from Him.
4. To prepare a generation proud of their deen, proud to be Muslim, and inviting to it eagerly.
5. To prepare a generation flourishing in all domains approved by the Shari'a, with the intention only to please Allah (swt).
6. To prepare a generation having "la ilaha illa Allah" as their way of life.

The success of the school depends on the sincere intention of the staff, and the full involvement of the parents in having the Islamic education of their children as the first priority. Let us know as one of the early scholars said, "This ummah will continue to prosper, as long as its youth are taught the Quran".
